Do you know that you are part of a special project?

By being in this apartment you are already contributing to an important good work.

The building in which you are staying is owned by a 200-year-old Opera Pia, and the rent paid goes to support two historic charitable congregations.

Our projects

In the heart of Florence and in the hearts of those you are helping

The Opera, Sinfonia and Minuetto apartments on Via de’ Neri are part of a finely restored old building embraced by the most authentic and vital Florence. This street steeped in history is still dotted with exceptional trattorias, wine mescos and traditional fruit, vegetable, meat and produce stores. It was right here that the first Antico Vinaio store was born, attracting all lovers of goodness every day with its fragrant Florentine schiacciate. An atmosphere of joy and sharing that represents the convivial spirit of the city and translates into generosity even for the less fortunate. In fact, by staying at this accommodation, you are already contributing to an important charity that aims to extend the comfort of a life of serenity to those who need it most.

Etesian, our philosophy

Harmony and tranquility in the heart of the Old Town

Opera, Sinfonia and Minuetto are the three apartments that Etesian manages on behalf of Opera Pia Laicale COSI according to the philosophy that has always accompanied it. Every detail is designed to offer guests an experience of quiet, welcome and well-being combined with the convenience of a very central location. At either end of Via de’ Neri, Piazza della Signoria and Piazza Santa Croce welcome visitors with their majestic architecture, custodians of magnificent Renaissance works. The Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery and the Boboli Gardens are just a few of the splendid attractions within a few minutes’ walk.

From a good work to a concert of generosity

Florence is known for the curiosities that cloak every corner of the city, where names, bricks, windows and architecture hide stories and anecdotes to be discovered. Even the building you stand in tells much about its past. The development of volumes in height and depth not only responds to aesthetic needs but is partly a consequence of the taxation that the Medici household imposed in the Renaissance on the basis of the space occupied in width. Even the name of your accommodation has its own particular history. “Opera” was the first apartment assigned to Etesian by the Opera Pia, whose name it recalls. Subsequently, “Minuetto” and “Sinfonia” kept the thread of a musical call, turning a single good work into a harmony of housing contributing to the solidarity project.
